California Dreamin'


In September 2019 I was a part of a group of Senior Photographers that gathered in Sacaramento, California for a 2 day education and modeling session with the Nationally recognized Amanda Holloway out of Houston and celebrity photographer Tara Rochelle out of Los Angelas.

It was a whirlwind trip that taught me so much and gave me the confidence I needed to keep pursuing my passion. Check out the behind the scenes video.

Amanda Holloway


One of the top Senior Photographers in the industry and recognized across the globe. Winner of several awards including Top 25 Most Influential Teen Photographers in the US, Lifetime Status, Best of the Business Overall Winner – Top Score of All Genres and Top 100 Senior Photographers in the US. In addition to her many accomplishments, Amanda is also a well known educator and business advisor to her fellow photographers.

Tara Rochelle


L.A. Senior Photographer who is known throughout the industry. Tara has photographed celebrity weddings and celebrities, but now focuses on the high school senior market. Tara also loves to teach other photographers and has been a speaker at workshops and is always highly requested to be a keynote speaker at industry conferences.

The Shootout


Day one in Cali was all about learning. But day two was the shootout. We made our way to Granite Bay, Northeast of Sacramento. Our models for the day were High Schools girls that were local to the area. They were not professional models but they handled the chaotic shootout like pros.

We were split up into teams of 3. Each photographer having only a very short amount of time to photograph each model. "Shootout" was an appropriate name. It felt like the wild west! It was a bit chaotic, a little challenging but a lot of fun! My time in California was invaluable and I can't wait for the next one! Check out some of my favorites shots from the trip.
