client experience:
I. Book the date.
Once you’ve chosen your session date, I’ll send you a personalized quote, a contract to review, and a quick questionnaire to help me get to know you better. Your answers will guide the planning process, allowing us to make the most of our time together and create a session that truly reflects you. As a bonus, you'll gain access to my Style Guide and Location Guide to help you prepare for your session.
II. Take photos.
We’ll meet at the location you’ve chosen to kick off your session, and I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. All you need to do is relax, have fun, and enjoy the moment! If there’s anything specific you’d like to talk about or focus on, feel free to share it with me when we meet — I’m all ears!
III. Deliver memories.
After your session, I’ll begin carefully editing your photos to bring out their very best. The editing process takes approximately two weeks, and I take my time to ensure each image is beautifully polished. Once everything is ready, I’ll send you a link to your online gallery, allowing you to view, download, and enjoy your final images.
This is my first photoshoot, and I'm nervous that I won't know what to do.
No need to stress — you don’t need any experience at all! Just be yourself and enjoy the moment. I’ll guide you with posing, expressions, and everything in between. We’re going to have a great time!
Can I print my photos?
Absolutely! Once your gallery is ready, you can download and print your photos anytime. Just a heads-up — for the best quality, I recommend using the professional lab linked in your gallery. I can’t guarantee how prints will turn out if you use other labs.
When can I expect to receive my photos?
In just two weeks, you’ll get a link to your very own online gallery filled with all your photos!
Are you available to work outside of Licking County?
Absolutely, I understand that travel may be necessary. I want to let you know that I can travel to you, though please keep in mind that there might be an additional travel charge depending on the distance.
What is a booking retainer?
A booking retainer is an advance payment made by you as a down payment for future services I will provide. This retainer fee is non-refundable and covers the initial expenses of our working relationship.
What should I do if the weather is bad or I am sick on my session day?
If the weather is not ideal and either party feels uncomfortable with the forecast, I will offer a makeup session. If you or a family member becomes ill, please contact me as soon as possible. I will coordinate a reschedule within two months of the original session date.
What is the best time of day to take photographs?
The best times for capturing amazing photos really depend on the time of year. Personally, I love shooting in the evening during sunset because that golden light is just perfect! I usually plan sessions around that time. But if you prefer a different time of day, just let me know your preference, and I'll do my best to make it work for you!
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! When you receive your invoice, you can choose to pay in as many installments and in any amount that suits you. If you have any questions or concerns about your payments, please feel free to contact me.
Do you offer professional hair & makeup?
I don't offer hair and makeup services because I believe in celebrating your natural beauty and helping you look like yourself! That said, I totally understand if you'd like to hire a professional for those services—it's a great option if you're interested!
